For me, the Reapers MC series has been going downhill for a while now, and while the romance part of this book followed that trend, the rest of the plot of this book wasn’t that bad. The natural disaster part was very engaging, and the writing really made me feel like I was right there. As with all the other books, not everything is wrapped up in this story, and it served as a interesting hook to keep a reader interested.
All that being said, I really hated Tinker and Gage/Cooper. Tinker is way too hung up on the past, and Gage was more manipulative than anything else. Tinker’s friends were way too pushy and slightly manipulative as well. The situation with Tinker’s Dad and her tenants were also somewhat interesting to read, but overall the relationship situation between Tinker and Gage dragged the story down somewhat.
All things considered, I might read the next book if I could get it from the library or on sale, but I won’t be chomping at the bit for it!
