Net Galley Review: The ASD and Me Picture Book: A Visual Guide to Understanding Challenges and Strengths for Children on the Autism Spectrum by Joel Shaul

FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE PUBLISHER THROUGH NET GALLEY IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW. RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!

I first heard about this book on Facebook in an Autism Group I am a part of, and I thought it would be worth checking out. I am very glad I did!

This is a fairly simple approach to Autism Spectrum Disorder. It has the reader focus on their strengths and weaknesses, which are called challenges in the book. It has the reader identify both, rate how good they are at each one, and gives tips on facing a challenge and what to do when you get frustrated with the challenge. I can see both my husband and my autistic son benefiting from this book! I would highly recommend it!
